I think this source can be incorporated into my finally project nicely, and I think it can achieve a few things. First, since it is interactive, it will encourage visitors to engage with my site and with material that is both sad and maybe boring. Second, it quickly presents very relevant and useful data that the reader can connect to their own lives, because most states are available (they can find info for their home state). Finally, it is a clear illustration of the issue I am talking about. There is a lot said in this map that would take a while to say otherwise. The map is also powered by the Memphis Teacher Residency, which is listed on the "Take Action" page and is a great resource for people interested in the education gap.
